Extractive Industry Transparency Initiative (EITI)

LAPFF is a member of the EITI Investor Group that shows its support of the EITI via the Investors' Statement on Transparency in the Extractive Sector. The EITI is a coalition of governments, companies, civil society groups, investors and international organizations. It aims to strengthen governance by improving transparency and accountability in the extractives sector and supports improved governance in resource-rich countries through the verification and full publication of company payments and government revenues from oil, gas and mining. More information, including the Investors Statement is available on the EITI website.
